HOPE FOR CHINA- Chinese Woman Spent 25% of Her Annual Income Rescuing Dogs

There’s hope for china as not all Chinese are into eating dogs. Every year over 10,000 dogs are captured and consumed. But this little Chinese lady is going against the grain of her culture to show the world that not all Chinese people consume dogs.

Yang Xiaoyun trekked halfway across the country to spend over $1000 (that’s around 25% of average Chinese income) to rescue 100 dogs who were destined to be eaten. Unnamed Chinese woman.

Yang works with the Common Home, a shelter providing a safe refuge to dogs that were destined to slaughter houses. Running on donations, Yang purchases food to feed shelter dogs and keep them healthy. It is good to see that not all Chinese are into eating dogs and there is hope for this part of the world.
