Why do we have so many lowlife humans who truly enjoy destroying the lives of animals???

Good question! I had no idea the magnitude of humanity who show no empathy.

Would it be possible and legal for animal lovers to form a human chain around the area where these black bears are in FL on Oct 24th? I know time is getting short, but I as oNE person be willing to drive or fly from my home in KS to Florida to do this. Yes, it would be hard for me to do, and take my time, that is hard to spare BUT if more people would join me MAYBE we could save these black bears or at least send a BIG message to the US government if nothing else. It would be worth it to me. We can talk about all atrocities done to wildlife by humans on these blogs but that will get nothing done. We have to SHOW the world how much we really care about these immoral and inhumane issues.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I haven’t been present on the site for quite some time. So many of us have been drained and depressed, feeling helpless and mourning all the innocent lives lost. To answer your question, activists were planning on making a presence in the woods and many did, although the area was much too large to make any difference, the hunt occurring across the entire state. Many people planned to hike those days in an attempt to drive the bears deeper into the woods, but many feared this would possibly backfire, sending the bears directly to the hunters. We do have to show the world how much we really care by our actions, I agree. Talking and writing is not enough, but it helps to get awareness out there and can lead to change. 75% of the public was against the hunt but it happened anyway. The FWC and Gov. Rick Scott clearly don’t care what the public wants.
